Greg Hands M.P. has launched a petition against a new bus lane on Chelsea Embankment. It is worth signing as this is totally unnecessary and will make traffic congestion worse.

Signed. In Drachten, a Dutch town where Hans Monderman introduced shared space, buses equipped with priority transponders took a minute to cross the town square. When Hans ditched traffic lights and transponders, buses got through the square in half a minute. Proof that interventionist traffic management, which costs the earth, is boloney.
